How do I apply for a Reception place for my child at Jewell Academy Bournemouth?

For September 2025 we will be offering 60 places in Reception. The application process will open on 1st September 2024.

BCP will let you know your outcome:

on 16 April 2025 if you apply on time (before the 15 January 2025)
on 8 May 2025 if you apply late (between 16 January and 9 February 2025)
from June onwards if you apply after 10 February 2025.

You must apply to the local authority where you live, even if the schools you are applying for are in another area.

Admission appeals submitted after the first day of term in September are referred to as in-year admission appeals. In-year admission appeals will be heard within 30 working days from the day the admission form is submitted to the school.
