Ocean Academy Proposed Changes
Proposal to convert Ocean Academy Poole from a 3 form entry junior school to a 1 form entry primary school (age 4 to 11) from September 2022
In the current trend of a decreasing local birth rate and in response to views expressed previously, this proposal aims to ensure a provision in the immediate local community to Ocean Academy that offers a consistent education from 4-11 years and allows sustainability for Ocean.
As this change in operation will cause a change in the number of pupils admitted (PAN) to the academy, we are consulting on the changes to the admissions policy concurrently.

The consultation period is for six weeks (excluding the Christmas Break) from Wednesday 2nd December 2020 to 4pm Wednesday 27th January 2021.
